U.S. Summer Tour For Queen & Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert & Queen

Queen and Adam Lambert announced a summer tour which will launch June 23rd at Phoenix’s Gila River Arena and take the group throughout the country through August 5th.

Tickets for the 25-city tour will go on sale Friday, February 3rd at 10 am local time.

Lambert and Queen wrapped their latest tour last September, a 15-date jaunt that included shows throughout Asia and Europe.

After a mini-tour in 2012 and a headlining performance at Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Music Festival the following year, the revamped Queen launched a run of full scale tours during the next three years. Since 2011, the band has been supported onstage by bassist Neil Fairclough, keyboardist Spike Edney and percussionist /Taylor’s son, Rufus Tiger Taylor.

While Queen has not united with Lambert in the recording studio, the rock legends performed the vocalist’s solo single “Ghost Town” during their 2015 tour, transforming it from a dance-floor banger into a monstrous stadium rocker. The supergroup released the concert LP Live in Japan this past year.

In 2014, Queen released the compilation Queen Forever, which features previously unreleased tracks with vocalist Freddie Mercury and bassist John Deacon.
