‘Revolution Radio Tour’ The Green Day Tour Has Started

Green Day

Green Day Begins Their “Revolution Radio Tour”

For their spring tour Green Day will be joined by Against Me and Catfish and The Bottlemen for their late summer tour dates. The North American Green Day tour starts March 1 in El Paso TX and goes through mid-April. Afterward, it picks back up again in August and goes through mid-September, ending in Pasadena California.

The Revolution Radio Record

Though Green Day’s most successful record is Dookie, their 90’s success was resurrected by the group in the recent decade with Revolution Radio. Green Day’s current tour was inspired by their most recent album.

It’s the first record since lead vocalist-songwriter Billie Joe Armstrong went for a prescription-pill habit to rehabilitation in 2012. Revolution Radio is their comeback, although this postponed the group’s music for the indefinite future. Additionally the Green Day comeback is an inspired anxious climate caused by the political chaos of modern day America.
