Phish Announces Fall Tour Dates

Phish has affirmed a slew of new tour dates for this fall, among them another string of highly anticipated Halloween concerts scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. On Aug. 2, the band revealed that its autumn trek will cover six cities with a total of 13 shows mostly in the southern half of the U.S.

While the yearly run of Phish Halloween shows is sure to be one of the biggest draws for enthusiasts in 2016, the group and its touring history will also be adding another city together this autumn. Other stops along the way will comprise Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas.

As for the Vegas Halloween concerts, Phish hasn’t performed in a musical costume since 2010 when the group covered Little Feat’s “Waiting on Columbus” in Atlantic City, N.J. During the band’s Halloween shows in 2013-14, Phish music took center stage. There’s no telling which way the band will go at this year’s concert in Vegas.

At the time of the fall tour announcement, Phish remains wrapping up its summer 2016 dates. The band will be among the headliners at Virginia’s Lockn Music Festival (Aug. 25-28), along with Ween and My Morning Jacket. Before heading to Colorado the next weekend for its annual run of shows at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado, Phish will play on Sunday and Friday of that festival.
