Saddling romance and a little faith to a simple gallop of a beat, Kip Moore sings of domestic bliss in his new song “More Girls Like You.” Comparing himself to a crazy mustang who’s finally ready to settle down, his intense, sandpaper vocals are applied by Moore to a production highlighted by guitars. Moore co-wrote the song with Steven Olsen, Josh Miller and David Garcia, saying that even as a proud bachelor, he looks forward to a day beginning his own family – a subject he also covered in his hit “Hey Pretty Girl.”
“I’ve never been that guy looking for a relationship, and solitude has never scared me,” he says on his website. “I’ve never bought into the societal pressure of following the A, B and C steps of life, but I still look forward to the family chapter. This song is about meeting that someone you find so amazing inside and out, that you can only pray the kids you have together are just as amazing as she is. That’s the kind of woman I hope to end up with.”
“More Girls Like You” is the first single from Moore’s forthcoming third full-length album. The record’s name and release date haven’t been announced.
After taking some essential time away from the road, Moore returns to touring using a March 3rd show at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida. Click here to browse Kip Moore Tickets.
