Judas Priest Released A Brooding Video For “Spectre”

Judas Priest

Judas Priest released a brooding new video for “Spectre,” a headbanger off their newly issued 18th LP, Firepower. The metal legends perform against a dark backdrop throughout the music video, interspersed with foreboding thunderstorms, snakes, blazing fire and mushroom clouds on city roads.

Firepower, out today, features the singles “Never the Heroes,” “Lightning Strike” and the title track. This album marks the 2nd studio appearance from guitar player Richie Faulkner (who replaced original member K.K. Downing) and the returning of co-producer Tom Allom, who worked with the band from 79′ to 88′. Judas Priest will promote their LP with an extensive global tour that launches March 13th in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

The band also announced a pop-up store in NYC, from March 9th to March 19th. This store will include rare group photos, vintage Judas Priest concert wear and hand written lyrics. Firepower will be available to purchase alongside the band’s entire vinyl catalog and other merchandise. Some followers who purchase Firepower will receive a wristband – granting access to the CD signing planned on March 19th at 6 p.m.
