Janet Jackson Extends Her Tour “State Of The World” For The Summer

Janet Jackson

A fresh round of U.S. tour dates were announced by Janet Jackson. The newest leg of the R&b’s ‘State Of The World’ Tour kicks off July 11th in Austin, Texas and wraps up August 7th in Tampa, Florida.

The initial ‘State Of The World’ Tour, that ran from September to December, was a rebranding of her earlier Unbreakable Tour, that she postponed because of pregnancy. “I deduced to change the name of the tour,” Jackson said during her tour. “It’s not about politics. It’s about people, the world, relationships and just love.”

Along with the regular tour dates, Jackson has a complete festival schedule booked that she will perform at. She’s set to co-headline the 2018 Outside Lands, Panorama and FYF.
