Hear Dustin Lynch’s New Song ‘Small Town Boy’

Dustin Lynch

Dustin Lynch’s new song highlights a love affair in the melting pot of Middle America in his new single, “Small Town Boy,” combining elements of country and hip-hop as he falls hard for a “ride-or-die baby” from the heartland.

This second song released from Lynch is approaching his (but still unannounced) third album, “Small Town Boy” opens with an alluring electric guitar hook and strutting R&B beat before the futuristic production shifts to minimalist finger snaps for the melody. With a dose of casually Auto-Tuned vocals, Lynch declares “I’m a dirt road, in the headlights” right from the top, as well as the amorous chorus explodes with his appreciation for the woman who’s equally as cool as she is insane.

Written by Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip and Kyle Fishman and produced by Zach Crowell (Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood), “Small Town Boy” is the follow up to Lynch’s fourth straight Number One, the pressing and hyper-sensual “Seein’ Red.” Lynch will join Brad Paisley’s Life Amplified World Tour as a featured encouraging artist in May, and is currently starting shows on Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots Tour.
