One of the best lineups in music festival history will come together this fall for “Desert Trip” in Indio, Calif. Supported on May 3, the great minds behind festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach have put together a gigantic classic rock festival for October, and the lineup is nothing short of awesome.

All six Desert Excursion headliners will be sharing one period over the course of the weekend, meaning there wo’t be challenging choices about who you need to see or any overlapping sets.
The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan will get things started on Friday, Oct. 7, followed by Paul McCartney and Neil Young on Oct. 8, and closing things out on Oct. 9 will be Roger Waters and The Who. According to the press release, the weekend also will feature more than 30 world- nearly 40 highest eateries, in addition to famous chefs from around the country.
Before the official Desert Excursion announcement, the rumored headliners, except Neil Young, had shared cryptic videos on their social media accounts featuring the artists’ signature songs alongside the word “October.”
