Buddy Guy Recruits Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Jeff Beck For Guest Appearances On The Blues Legend’s Upcoming Album

Buddy Guy recruited the Rolling Stones’ singer & guitarist Mick Jagger and Keith Richards; also Yardbirds guitarist Jeff Beck, for guest appearances on the blues legend’s forthcoming album The Blues Is Alive and Well.

 

Jagger sang the vocals of Guy’s “You Did the Crime,” Guy’s first album since 2015’s Born to Play Guitar, while Beck and Richards teamed up with Guy on “Cognac.”

 

James Bay is also on the album’s “Blue No More.” Guy’s longtime collaborator Tom Hambridge created and produced The Blues Is Alive and Well album. Buddy Guys new album is due to release June 15th, 2018.

 

Guy, voted 1 of Rolling Stone’s hundred Greatest Guitarists, is scheduled to perform on David Lettermans My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
