After laying low the past couple years, Bon Jovi is gearing up for a significant run of live tour dates in 2017.
When compared with the last Bon Jovi tour, 2013’s Because We Can: The Tour, this initial set of dates is pretty modest, so expect more dates to be added throughout 2017, unless the group chooses to go the festival course which is definitely a possibility too.
The record, meanwhile, is set to fall on Nov. 4, while the lead single, “This House Isn’t for Sale,” was released on Aug. 12.
Individual band members are different this time around, though the song boasts a recognizable Bon Jovi sound. The group’s former guitarist, Richie Sambora, has not been present since his unexpected departure during the 2013 tour and wasn’t involved with the new album nor will he be joining for the tour. While bassist Hugh McDonald has been upgraded to official group member standing, Phil X will be taking over such obligations.
