Big Boi Releases New Song ‘Mic Jack’ on ‘Tonight Show’

Big Boi

Big Boi gave an amazing, propulsive performance of his new single “Mic Jack” on Monday’s Tonight Show.

“Boomiverse coming soon,” Big Boi declared after the performance, hyping his forthcoming solo LP – his first since 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. The rapper announced Boomiverse last week and released a pair of new tracks: “Mic Jack,” which features Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and “Kill Jill,” colaborated by fellow Atlanta stars Killer Mike and Jeezy.

Big Boi hinted on social media that the record will probably be classic, also featuring Gucci Mane, Cee Lo Green and unreleased verses from late UGK rapper Pimp C.

Boomiverse follows Big Boi’s collaborative album with Phantogram. Last year, a possible joint EP teased with Killer Mike.
