Billboard Hot 100

1. Fetty

Fetty is playing the show for the second straight year, and he is not back just because. In 2015, he was quickly hitting the charts with “Trap Queen,” and he was on one of the side stages. Naturally, the demand was enormous. He’s rapping on the main stage — the Hot 100 Stage — inside the amphitheater grounds for all to see this year. On Saturday evening, see Fetty and loads of tracks from his 2015 record My Way, in addition to singles he’s dropped this year like “Again” and “Wake Up.”

2. DJ Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris has been teasing and sharing new music in the last several months. Could we get a taste of the followup to his 2014 studio album, Motion? There’s a great chance.

3. Rachel Platten

“Fight Song” is having a huge summer, although it’s been out since before last year’s Hot 100 Fest.

4. Ariana Grande Headlines Saturday Night

Let’s hear it for Ariana Grande — golden voice and recent Billboard cover star behind three hit-filled albums. This she produced “Dangerous Woman ”. Head out to the Hot 100 Stage on Saturday night to see her close the evening out with those tunes, alongside hits like “Love Me Harder” and “Break Free.”

5. Live That SremmLife

Rae Sremmurd grew up some on their new album SremmLife 2, which dropped back on Aug. 12. However, it’s jump to get the celebration began alongside old hits like “No Flex Zone” and “Come Get Her.” The brothers are playing the Sun Stage Saturday night at 9 p.m.

6. See “Panda” Live

Psst — you might want to appear for Desiigner’s set early. The 19-year old artist behind “Tiimmy Turner” and “Panda” is playing the W Hotels Next Up Stage Sunday evening at 10, and he’s certain to draw a crowd.

7. The Most Recent Disguised DJ…

Watch out for mystical DJ Marshmello on the Sun Stage on Sunday night at 8:45. He’s been onto something lately — dropping the strong single “Alone” (listen below) and bringing out Skrillex, Martin Garrix and Jauz at EDC this year.

8. Alexis Krauss

There isn’t lots of alternative rock at Hot 100 Fest, but we think the noisy duet Sleigh Bells fit in amongst all the raucous EDM and hip hop. The speaker-shattering sounds of singer Alexis Krauss and guitarist Derek Miller should bring old favorites like “Rill Rill” to their 6:45 p.m. Saturday set, alongside new songs like “Rule Number One” and “Hyper Dark” they’ve released this year.

9. Bash With J. Cole

Now, J. Cole needs no introduction. The mixtape star-turned-platinum selling hip-hop artist can rock a great show, backed by his fanatically devoted fanbase.

10. Your Summer’s Almost Over!

Seriously… you’re nearly going back to school. Labor Day Weekend is merely two weekends away. Are you going to send off your summer with a bang? Catch a bunch of pals, and head out to Jones Beach, where you can catch a group of tour favorite artists on a summer night in the ocean air. You’ll be glad you did.
