The infamous Barbra Streisand has declared her return to the stage. The upcoming tour will mark Streisand’s first live dates in four years and will cover at least nine leading cities across North America in support of a brand new record.

New Album to Be Streisand’s First in Two Years
Streisand will be releasing a new album of duets, titled “Encore: Film Partners ” in conjunction with the 2016 tour, Sing Broadway. Although her list of collaborators is still under wraps, the album is promised to be a crossover hit, touching on her lauded career on both the stage and in concert. At the time of her tour announcement, Streisand also hasn’t disclosed an official release date for the album, but she did affirm it will be later this year.
Streisand most recent record was “Partners”. On that record, she collaborated with musical greats like Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, and Josh Groban to cover a mixture of Broadway tunes, pop standards, and contemporary hits.
