The Red Hot Chili Peppers will follow the release of their first studio album in five years with a leading international tour that starts stateside in Jan. 2017. The tour is scheduled through March as of now, might included festival stops that will prolong the RHCP’s U.S. tour.

 

Lovers that saw Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2016 during their many festival stops have already gotten a taste of what the new music sounds like live. “The Getaway” dropped on June 17 and finally peaked at No. 1 on the US Top Alternative Albums Graph and US Top Rock Albums Chart.’

 

The Getaway Tour will feature support either from Jack Irons at select dates or Orleans Avenue and Trombone Shorty. Not long before the 2017 tour announcement, the Red Hot Chili Peppers released the video for the album single, “Go Robot ”.

 

Anthony Kiedis and Co. also were on hand for the Los Angeles Rams home opener on Sept. 18, playing a special pregame concert at the franchise’s temporary place, the L.A. Coliseum.
