Let’s be honest, going to any concert is an awesome, awe-inspiring and fun experience, but if you are going to see and listen to someone you really love, the last thing you want is to be stuck way in the back or in nosebleed seats where you can barely see, let alone hear what is going on.
Instead, you want to be up close and personal, you want to hear every word, every chorus, every guitar riff! If you want to buy concert tickets and you want to get the best seats possible for the money you have, here are a few tips for you to consider before you buy your seats or after you buy the tickets – some places don’t have reserved seating, you just sit where you want.
Join The Fan Club
Most all of the artists these days have some sort of a fan club and by joining those clubs, for free or at a very small fee, you could be given pre-sale information and you cold be given that information before anyone else who does not belong to that club which means you have a better chance of knowing ahead of time when the tickets will be available.
Sometimes these clubs even give you discounts for good seats, tickets for meet and greets and more. This is a really cool and easy way to get good tickets for good seats, as well as get to meet the artist, get a photo, get an autograph, etc.
Get Tickets The Week Before
Most people think that buying tickets month before an event means you will get the best ticket, but that’s not always the case. In fact, like with airline tickets, if you just wait for a little closer to the time you want to go to the concert, you might find that you can get better tickets for a much better price.
This means a lot of nail-biting, but if you can manage to be a little patient and wait a week before the venue, you might just be getting a better deal than everyone else.
Get The Tickets Online
Most of the third-party sites, like this one, will give you a much better selection of tickets for much cheaper and the seats can be pretty spectacular.
Buying tickets online is nothing new, its been going on for years, but it might not be until just recently that you realize just how beneficial it really is.
Get Tickets That Arent RSVP
Usually when it comes to a live venue they have reserved or sit as you come seats. RSVP seats tend to be more expensive and they are designated seats for your tickets.
Unreserved seating means you just come and sit where you want in the unreserved section. A few months ago I went to see Holly Miranda at a venue, and I bought unreserved tickets, I got there early, I got amazing seats – so close I could see the sweat dripping down her forehead, and they were incredibly cheap.
In fact, we were in the front row, it was a sit-down seat and I wouldn’t havechanged anything else about it. A concert doesn’t necessarily have to mean its in this huge arena with 500,000 screaming fans. Sometimes it can be a more intimate setting and just as amazing.
