Before this month, Bon Iver performed a string of ten shows in NYC to advertise his latest album, ’22, a Million’. NPR filmed one of these concerts, and the 66-minute video of the concert was made available to stream in its entirety.
The first five shows – including the one documented by NPR – took place in the Pioneer Works gallery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. (Bon Iver is a member of the organization’s advisory board.) Following his brief residency there, Bon Iver played a pair of shows each played at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan and the Kings Theater in Brooklyn.
