For the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Summerfest concert comes at the tail end of a long North American venture which will start in January. After a five-year absence, RHCP at last dropped a new record, “The Getaway,” back in June, which peaked at No. 1 on the US Top Rock Records and Top Alternative Albums charts.
With most of the trek occurring during the wintertime and spring months, the Summerfest appearance marks one of the few opportunities to view the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform outside in 2017.
Pink Perhaps Set for Big Return in 2017 – Click Here For Pink Tickets
Similar to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink fans have been itching for a follow up to her 2012 multi-Platinum-selling smash hit, “The Truth About Love.” An extensive global tour followed from 2013-2014, but the vocalist has been notably absent from the tour circuit since.
While the May launch of the single “Just Like Fire” for the “Alice Through the Looking Glass” soundtrack ignited rumors of an imminent album from Pink, the vocalist has yet to confirm any details to the public. Regardless, stay tuned, as it’s likely her Summerfest show won’t be the sole live appearance in 2017. The only hitch? Just days before the Summerfest statement, Pink confirmed that she’s pregnant with her second child, so of course any tour plans will have to be scheduled across the due date.
